We noticed that it often happens that website visitors type a message in the widget but click away when they are redirected to (web) WhatsApp. For example, a visitor may not realize that the message is only sent when they do this in the app, because they do not have a WhatsApp account or because they find it too much trouble to actually go to the (web) app. With the new feature, these problems and obstacles are a thing of the past!

• An easy alternative for WhatsApp contact, without extra effort;
• More chance to serve your customers.

As you can see on the image above on the left, previously only a WhatsApp message could be sent or the 'call me back' function could be used via the widget. The widget still looks the same now.
However, something has changed.

When a website visitor wants to send a message via the WhatsApp widget and clicks send, the visitor is redirected to web WhatsApp or the mobile app. However, it turns out that the visitor does not always actually send the message via the app. Something goes wrong somewhere, as we have already discussed. They end up closing (web) WhatsApp.

As seen on the right side of the image, the widget now looks different for these visitors: they can choose to send the message via email. Convenient, of course, now you won't miss these questions!
