Install Wappy on your Lightspeed website

Good that you chose the WhatsApp widget from Wappy! With a few simple steps, you can install a WhatsApp chat function on your Lightspeed website and increase the number of inquiries from potential customers.

Step 1. Go to your Lightspeed website

Log in to your Lightspeed website and go to the settings. You can find this at the bottom left. Then click on 'Web Extras' under the heading website settings.

Step 2. Custom Javascript

Then go to 'Custom Javascript'. Your screen should now look like the image below. In the Custom Javascript box, you will want to paste the implementation code that corresponds to Wappy's WhatsApp widget.

Toggle the switch to 'on' and proceed to the next step.

Step 3. The implementation code

As we mentioned in step 2, we now want to find the implementation code of Wappy. For this, open your Wappy account. Now go to your widgets. Have you created a widget before? Click on it. Your screen will look like this:

Don't have a widget yet? Go to 'Widgets' and then to 'create a widget'. You can now fill in the information on the left side of your screen and save it. Once you've done that, you'll see your implementation code at the bottom right.

You can now copy your implementation code from Wappy.
