To delete your WhatsApp Business account, follow these steps:

1. Open the WhatsApp Business app and go to your settings;
2. Go to account;
3. Click on delete my account;
4. Enter the phone number you used to register your account and click on the red delete my account;
5. Now you can provide a reason for deleting your WhatsApp Business account and/or click on next;
6. Confirm the deletion of your account now at the bottom of your screen and close the app. Your account is now deleted.

If your phone is stolen, broken, or you have a new mobile and new number? Then you want to be able to delete your WhatsApp account without a phone. The first thing you need to do is block your SIM card. By contacting your mobile provider as soon as possible and blocking your SIM card, your WhatsApp account cannot be verified. This is because SMS messages or calls need to be received. Then you can do two things:

1. Use a new SIM card with the same number to verify WhatsApp (Business) on your new phone.
2. Send an email to [email protected] with the phrase ‘Lost/Stolen: Deactivate my account’. Also, include your phone number in international format (+31).

It is important that, in the case of a stolen or lost mobile, you not only block your SIM card but also contact WhatsApp. Otherwise, your WhatsApp account can still be used via Wi-Fi.

Note: Your account will be deactivated, not deleted. This means that contacts can still see your profile and send you messages.
